WOODSTOCK.. AGAIN!?

WOODSTOCK.. AGAIN!?

WOODSTOCK.. AGAIN!?

WOGA heard through the grapevine that there’s a growing buzz in the music community that the Woodstock music festival is coming back again. New reports out this week claim that Michael Lang, the co-founder of the legendary event, is currently in final discussions for a 50th anniversary show to take place in the summer of 2019. A source claims Lang has also been in talks with major headliners and is actively scouting for an outdoor space. A teaser message has even gone up on the official Woodstock website. The legendary 1969 festival, attended by more than 400,000, had a well-received sequel in 1994 to celebrate the 25th anniversary, as well as another event in 1999 which infamously descended into total chaos. The festival has been quiet ever since, but Lang has been talking about holding another installment since 2014.
