Ryan Dalton

Ryan is a native of Blossburg, who grew up recording pretend radio shows on his cassette player and making movies with his brothers. He is a graduate of North Penn High School, where he participated in sports and music, and co-hosted the comedic Friday Morning Show on the school’s TV network. In college, Ryan studied Communication, Film, and Theater, and briefly attended the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland (the alma mater of fellow actor, Colin Farrell). While in College, Ryan hosted his first non-pretend radio show, and continued his acting career with roles in theater, commercials, films, and on major TV networks. Ryan also has a Masters Degree in Writing from William Paterson University of New Jersey.

After graduate school, Ryan’s poetry-inspired band regularly recorded at Tony Bennett’s recording studio in New Jersey, landed their video on MTV, and were nominated for an MTVU Woodie Award for Best New Artist. For the past 12 years Ryan has hosted the Afternoon Stretch on The Buzz in Wellsboro. He loves working in radio, where he gets to have great conversations, live in his favorite place (Tioga County), and play a wide variety of music.

Ryan continues to work as a freelance photographer and filmmaker, does some acting here and there, and still makes music. Join Ryan for great radio, fun conversations, and the greatest hits of all time.. on Ryan Dalton in the Afternoon on WOGA! Listen 3 PM to 7 PM on Tioga County Radios at 92.3 FM, 93.5 FM, and 1490 AM.
